: "I believe photographs are abstract, because freezing an instant is unnatural, and there are ways the camera sees things differently to us.I'm interested in essence and resonance. Seeking the universal in the ephemeral. I like ambiguity, to allow space for the imagination. There should be a remove from the literal, an image not a recording."
