Gill Curry studied Art and Contemporary Dance pursuing a career teaching Art & Design.
Following an MA in Fine Art (Print) she has specialised in print methods, screen print, linocut, woodcut and etching, exhibiting locally and nationally.

Her prints explore the contrasting landscapes of the Dee Estuary and Les Alpilles, Provence, capturing the rich plant and bird life of both areas.

Inspired by Tacita Dean’s film of Merce Cunningham a recent project incorporated the work of this contemporary dancer and choreographer.

Sharing printmaking facilities at the Bluecoat with fellow printmakers has led to exciting, collaborative projects that offer endless new possibilities in the medium of print.
